About the event
This series will run for 4 weeks with live-stream classes and Tuesday and Thursday nights. Each Tuesday at 5pm PST there will be a 1 hour yoga class and on Thursdays at 5:30 pm PST there will be a 1 hour discussion/yoga class to go into detail about the postures, terms used in the Tuesday class, as well as give an oppurtunity to ask questions.
The purpose of this series is to dive deeper into the alignment, feeling and purpose of the poses that we do in classes. Alignment, in this course, isn't about making the pose look a certain way, but about what you feel and how to keep your body safe and able to practice until you're 100.
The discussion protion gives us time to break down certain poses as well as gives you a chance to ask question that you may have coming into to series or that arrise while you practice.
I will use props in the course so I would recommend having 2 blocks, several cushions/pillows, and a towel or blanket. You can do all the classes without them, but you will find more ease in your practice if you use them.
